This diagram shows the typical sun pattern. The private areas such as the bedroom don’t receive as high levels of afternoon and morning sunlight as the garden room and living areas. A walled area has been positioned on the western end of the house to in summer reduce morning sunlight or in winter capture it. The thin green wavy lines represent wind effects on the structure. It also shows views out from the house.
