adapt to the natural morphology of the terrain (Guerra, 2008). The budget of the project has also affected its design. The living areas have been designed underground this acts as a thermal barrier and increases security. The outdoor living areas are on top of the indoor areas this decreasing landscape costs. The residence is around 180m2 it consists of a small kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a social bathroom and three bedrooms (Saieh, 2008).

The Casa Tolo Residence is positioned on a site, with an area of around 1000m2, (Saieh, 2008). The site is narrow and extremely topographically inclined. Siza has worked with this and created a series of fragmented but interconnected spaces that References:
